AP DSC 2012 Age Limit for SC/ST/BC Candidates
5 years Upper age relaxation provided for SC/ST/BC Candidates as per govt of India rules,so they can have up to 44 years as on 01-07-2011 and the minimum age is 18 years.
AP DSC 2012 Age Limit for Ex-Servicemen:
10 years relation for Ex-Servicemen candidates so they can have up to 49 years as on 01-07-2011.No change in Minimum age of 18 years.

AP DSC 2012 Eligibility Criteria:
The next question that might arise in your mind is that whether am I eligible to write AP DSC 2012 exam. Here you can check the minimum eligibility and essential qualifications required to write DSC AP 2012 exams.
1.Only those candidates who are qualified in the APTET are eligible to appear for DSC 2012.
2.The age limit for DSC 2012 teacher recruitment is that, the candidate should be between 18 to 39 years as on July 1st, 2012. However, the upper age limit for SC/ ST/ BC candidates is 44 years and for Physically challenged candidates the age limit is 49 years. So if you are within this age limit you are eligible to apply for DSC 2012.
3.For SGT posts you should have APTET Paper-I pass certificate and for School Assistant and Language Pandit posts, you should have a pass certificate in APTET Paper II with any optional subject and if you belongs to General category, you must have scored 60% and above, 50% and above in case of BC candidates, 40% and above score in case of SC/ST candidates and differently abled candidates.
4.To become eligible, you should have Intermediate Certificate issued by Andhra Pradesh Board of Intermediate education or other equivalent certificates recognized by AP Board of Intermediate Education.
5.You should have academic and professional or training qualifications issued by institution / University recognized by UGC / NCTE.
6.If you have done Distance Mode courses which are recognized by Joint Committee comprising UGC, DEC, AICTE then you are eligible to apply.
7.Candidates who have done Special Education Courses recognized by Rehabilitation Council of India can also apply for DSC 2012.
